Woodland Whimsy for a Farm-to-Table Celebration
Marigold Lyons is a personal favorite (of Emily's) in the whole of Colorado. Nestled along the main street of the endearing town of Lyons (45 minutes from Denver) this seemingly humble spot is a medaled, culinary stand-out and as much a master at crafting mouth-watering goodness as it is at creating magical dining experiences.
For a mile-marker celebration at Marigold, we aimed for down-to-earth sophistication with hints of whimsy—we're very serious when it comes to having a good time! We had fun playing with the balance of warm and cool notes within the space: mirroring the warm neutrals of the walls, fixtures and furniture with mauve and plum florals, tossing in hints of crisp lavender for brightness and levity, and bringing in clay tones to contrast to vibrant blue bar.
As dusk settled in, the flow of light reversed and the space, once bathed in sunshine, lit up a warm, illuminating glow—the quintessential scene of small town enchantment.
