Quiet Elegance for A Full Weekend Celebration
From the first connection with Laura and Anthony around their wedding florals, we knew this weekend was going to be a match-made in heaven for us. A weekend of contrast and balance in the most beautiful ways: a spectacular downtown ceremony in a catholic church, a relaxed lakeside reception in the mountains, and an overall feeling of creating a celebration that felt comfortable, joyful, and timeless.
We wanted to honor the outstanding beauty and history of their ceremony venue with florals that could hopefully also stand the test of time: grand in size and classic in palette nature to echo the European influences of the church.
For the reception, we took full advantage of the opportunity to play to our rustic, mountain side. We layered dinner tables with delicate, wispy locally grown blooms in custom-made ceramic vases. Caramel-toned pillar candles grounded the soft florals and high ceilings of the space. And in each vignette of the evening — the beautiful outdoor bar, the whimsical indoor bar, the grand fireplace mantle, and the cocktail lounge — we set the tone with thoughtful, statement arrangements.
